SCENT STORY

Flecks of light dance on the ripples of the ocean, as fresh and salty air fills your lungs. Childhood memories of wild laughter, dripping ice cream, sandy toes, and crashing waves. For a moment your breath moves in time with the ocean and you are still, connected, and calm.

An incredibly complex scent, there are over seven layers of ‘lemon’ including melissa and lemon myrtle which open the experience, giving you an intricate depth. Next emerges a multi-faceted layer of full and fresh herbs taking you to briny and swaying seaweed washed up on the shore. Before the star of the show, the salty samphire shines through and you are transported to the SUNLIT sea, breathing in the scent of the ocean.

Spritz and spray nature’s golden droplets as desired onto your skin, hair and clothing, where appropriate to the fabric.

Take a deep, intentional breath. The exquisite fragrance, delicately complex as only nature can compose, will be a symphony for your senses.

The scent lasts on your skin for 2-5 hours. They will not linger in the room, long after you’ve left or overpower, like synthetic perfumes. However, they may need reapplying sooner than artificials.

We select the most exquisite ingredients, blending them to create divine fragrances and we do not taint their purity with preservatives. To ensure you experience the product at its best, use by the date indicated on the bottle.

Crafted with unparalleled purity means that no synthetics have been added. Natural sedimentation may therefore occur. Gently turning the bottle upside down a few times will help disperse any natural settlement.

Store in a cool, dark place. Natural oils are affected by daylight and heat.

Delivery within UK is free of charge. However if you are ordering from outside the UK, there will be shipping charges calculated and added at the point of purchase.

NYITA’s distinctive scent creations are born from Rebecca, our founder’s, unconventional approach to perfumery and the ‘beautiful constraints’ of our ethics.

We discovered that by not following the traditional perfumer’s formulaic top, middle and bottom notes structure, we could conjure up fragrances that are enchantingly unexpected.

Similarly, by rejecting the prevalence of synthetic ingredients, our scents have the nuanced complexity that only all-natural ingredients can provide.

Delving a little deeper into how and why we source our ingredients the way we do, reveals that no other brand is quite so meticulous. We ensure that from farming and harvesting, through to the essential oil extraction itself, all our organic products are created to exceptional purity, quality and sustainability standards.

THE UNCONVENTIONAL FRAGRANCE

  • All natural, but not at the expense of our beautiful planet. It takes between 200 and 1,000 years for one inch of topsoil to be replenished. To protect it, we don’t use any ingredients that involve killing the entire plant or tree.

  • Slow infusions – we give our ingredients the time they need to fully and gently infuse.

  • Organic sugarcane alcohol base.

  • Radical transparency – we list every single ingredient with nothing hidden on the labels under ‘fragrance’ or ‘parfum’.
